The Rev. Dr. Cecelia Evelyn GreeneBarr coined the title “Spiritual Engineer” to describe her work in the ministry. She is the Prophetic Pastor of Saunders Memorial African Methodist Episcopal Church, Detroit, MI. She is the founder of Sharing Faith Ministries, Inc. a Kingdom based ministry that promotes spiritual maturity. She is the author of Guide My Feet: Ministry Transformed Through Mentoring, and published in Faith of our Mothers, Living Still: Princeton Seminary Women Redefining Ministry, This is My Story: Testimonies and Sermons of Black Women in Ministry, These Sisters Can Say It: 15 Powerful Sermons from Contemporary African American Women Preachers and Doing Church. Dr. GreeneBarr is a Joe R. Engle Preaching Fellow, a Podcaster on the topic of Sisterhood, an Educator, Friendship Coach and Life Strategist. She holds earned degrees in Transformational Leadership, D. Min. from Ashland Theological Seminary, Ashland, OH and Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary, Princeton, N. J. and Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, Greensboro, N.C. Dr. GreeneBarr and her husband, Theron Barr, Jr. have two children; Theron-Howard and Cecelia II.
